Effective December 1, 2025, KAPU Currency Exchange will implement updates to the minimum accepted amount for Email Money Transfer transactions. To enhance system security, processing efficiency, and compliance review quality, the following rules will apply:
• KAPU will no longer accept Email Money Transfer transactions below CAD 1,000 (or equivalent RMB).
• Transactions below CAD 1,000 must be completed in person at our branch.
In addition, to meet enhanced due-diligence requirements:
• For any single Email Money Transfer transaction of CAD 10,000 or above, please upload your Bank Statement through the “Update Documents” page in your personal account. This allows us to process high-value transactions more efficiently and securely.
These adjustments are designed to strengthen risk management, optimize system resources, and provide a more stable and efficient service experience.
