Effective December 1, 2025, KAPU Currency Exchange will implement updates to the minimum accepted amount for Interac e-Transfer transactions. To enhance system security, processing efficiency, and compliance review quality, the following rules will apply:

• KAPU will no longer accept Interac e-Transfer transactions below CAD 1,000 (or equivalent RMB).

• Transactions below CAD 1,000 must be completed in person at our branch.

In addition, to meet enhanced due-diligence requirements:

• For any single Interac e-Transfer transaction of CAD 10,000 or above, please upload your Bank Statement through the “Update Documents” page in your personal account. This allows us to process high-value transactions more efficiently and securely.

These adjustments are designed to strengthen risk management, optimize system resources, and provide a more stable and efficient service experience.
